Sauce, saladette, or paste tomatoes have a lower moisture content than other tomatoes. Though all make excellent sauces, some can have a grainy texture when eaten fresh, but they hold together perfectly for salads.
This collection contains two plants each of the following tomatoes:
- San Marzano
The classic Italian paste tomato. High yielding with less moisture, perfect for sauces. 70-80 days
- La Roma
A pear-shaped tomato with large tasty fruit on vigorous plants. 76 days
- Venti Salad
A new hybrid saladette with good fruit size and quality. Unlike most saladette types, Venti Salad is a very compact plant but with high yeilds. 70-75 days
